Privacy Policy

Most privacy policies are long because the site behind them collects a lot. This one is short because RankedSkins collects almost nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies on this site. Here is the complete picture.

1. Who runs this site

RankedSkins (rankedskins.com) is an independent review site for CS2 skin platforms, operated from the Netherlands. For anything in this policy, contact support@rankedskins.com.

2. What we collect

Three things, and only these three:

• Anonymous click counts. When you click an outbound link (our /go/ links to reviewed platforms), we add one to a counter for that platform. A number, nothing more. No IP address, no cookie, no device information and no timestamp is stored with it. We cannot tell who clicked, only that a click happened.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically keeps standard technical logs (IP address, requested page, browser type) to keep the server running and secure. These rotate automatically and we do not use them for anything beyond security.
• Email you send us. If you write to support@rankedskins.com, we receive your address and your message, use them to reply, and delete them when the conversation is done.

3. What we deliberately do not do

• No user accounts, so there is nothing to register and no password to leak.
• No analytics services. We do not run Google Analytics or any equivalent.
• No advertising networks and no tracking pixels.
• No third-party fonts or scripts. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so opening a page here sends no request to Google or anyone else.
• No sale or sharing of any data, because there is nearly none to sell.

4. Cookies

Browsing this site sets no tracking cookies. WordPress may set a small functional cookie if you leave a comment (to remember your name in the form) and for administrators who log in. That is the full list, which is why you do not see a cookie banner here: there is nothing to consent to.

5. What happens when you click an outbound link

Our platform links point to third-party sites through our /go/ redirects, and most are affiliate links. After the redirect, you are on the destination platform, under its privacy policy, not ours. That platform will typically set a cookie to remember that you arrived through RankedSkins, which is how affiliate commissions get attributed. We receive aggregated statistics from partners (sign-up counts, commission totals), never personal data about you. Read more on our affiliate disclosure page.

6. Legal basis (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies: server logs are processed under legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f), running a secure website), and contact email under legitimate interest in answering you. The click counters contain no personal data, so the GDPR does not apply to them.

7. Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, ask for correction or deletion, and object to processing. In practice, unless you emailed us, the honest answer to "what do you hold about me" is: nothing we can link to you. Requests go to support@rankedskins.com. If you are in the EU and unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority; in the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

8. Minors

This site covers gambling-related topics and is for adults of 18 and older (21+ where local law requires). We do not knowingly process data from minors. Since we collect nearly nothing, there is little to process, but if you believe a minor has emailed us, tell us and it will be deleted.

9. Changes

If we ever add something that collects data (say, a newsletter), this policy changes first and the date above moves. No silent changes.
